The Beginning
How It Started
GetBoat Thailand was born from a simple observation: tourists visiting Koh Samui wanted authentic, premium boat experiences — but the market was fragmented, unreliable, and often overpriced.
In 2009, our founder, a marine enthusiast with deep roots in Koh Samui, decided to change that. Starting with a single longtail boat and a commitment to safety and transparency, GetBoat Thailand grew into the region's most trusted charter company.
Today, we operate a diverse fleet — from luxury yachts to traditional longtails — all managed by experienced captains who know these waters intimately. We've sailed over 50,000 guests through Ang Thong Marine Park, hosted honeymoons, family reunions, and corporate retreats.

Our Responsibility
Sustainability
Reef-Safe Practices
All guests receive reef-safe sunscreen (provided free). We prohibit single-use plastics on board and use compostable alternatives.
Zero Waste
All waste is sorted, recycled, or composted. No trash is dumped in the ocean. We've eliminated single-use plastics entirely.
Marine Conservation
We partner with local conservation groups and donate 1% of revenue to sea turtle protection programs.
Community Support
We employ local captains and crew, supporting Koh Samui's economy. We source food locally whenever possible.
